Problem
- Water is running into the washing machine, even though it is not in use.
- There is water in the drum after the washing machine has not been used for a long time.
Tips
- Check if the water in the washing machine is clear or dirty.
- The water in the appliance is clear: it is possible that the water valve is contaminated, preventing it from opening or closing properly. In many cases, this fault can be resolved by starting a short programme that flushes the inlet valve with water.
- The water in the appliance is dirty: dirty water usually comes from the drain. Check the water drain and possibly the siphon to which the washing machine is connected.
